Why This Blog?

About three years ago the Lord gave me a dream about storing up spiritual food for others to eat. The analogy He used was for me to “put food in a freezer.” This blog was created out of my desire to share the food or words the Lord has provided.  I can’t guarantee I will post everyday, but hope to post several times a week.

Sign up! Join me in my journey to place more food in the freezer. Each time someone reads from my blog the door of the freezer opens and someone is fed. I hope to someday have enough material to create a daily devotional or app.  I have been in the ministry now over 35 years now, and I can say I am more in love with the Lord now than ever before.

Thanks for visiting,

Pastor

  1. Just found this blog last evening.
Enjoyed what I read from Pastor in Nashville TN

  2. Went looking for the story of Aquinas and the Pope – ‘we can no longer say Rise up and walk”. Google found it for me in a post of yours from 2011! Thank you. You now have a follower in New Zealand…… 🙂

  3. I am always looking for some new application and thoughts from the Word of God to help me in my walk since 1975. Ever wanting to learn more and your blessings are helping me continue to be faithful till we meet one day! Many Thanks from Nova Scotia, Canada!

    • Thanks for your encouragement. I have not been able to blog in the last few weeks due to moving. I hope to get back to it next week. Many blessings to you.

  4. How to Get Straight in a Crooked Church good post but pls check out image quoting Leask (he writes porn)

    • Thanks for the encouragement. I think we are talking about two different people. My quote was from a song writer not a blogger/author. Check out davidleask.com to see it this is the same person you are referring.

  5. If I could write down everything in my life I would have a book. To make a very long story short I lost my father in death when I was seven. My mother was pregnant with my youngest sister. The oldest was 12. She raised seven kids on her own. If it wasn’t for God we probably been in homes. I thank God for my mothers strength in him. She is no longer with us now but she lives in our hearts
